At Dead stock Fabrics, I am committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors to our website. In particular, I want you to know that Dead stock is not in the business of selling customers data to other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. In this Privacy Policy, I have lots of detailed information on when and why I collect your personal information, how I use it and how I keep it secure.

Some cookies collect information about browsing and purchasing behaviour when you access this website via the same computer or device. This includes information about pages viewed, products purchased and your journey around a website. I do not use cookies to collect or record information on your name, address or other contact details. You do have an option to disable cookies, but this may not make the website work properly.

All I use google analytics for is to see visitor behaviour patterns and standard log information. I do this to find things out such as the number of visitors to the various parts of my site. This information is only processed in a way that does not identify anyone.

When purchasing a product from Dead stock Fabrics your name, address data, email and contact number will be stored in my website system – Shopify. Your payment details are never stored here.
I make sure all customer data is stored securely and only one other person has access to my site and that is to fix and technical faults when the website isn’t running properly.

When you place an order with me you will pay via PayPal, the only payment details I see is how much you have spent and where to ship to. I have no access to anything else, please check PayPal’s Privacy policy’s.

I do keep paper copies of your orders to help with shipping and to keep as records for my accounts, these include name, address, email address, what and when you ordered and how much.
These records are only kept for 7 years then I dispose of them through a paper shredder and recycled them carefully.

Shipping: All my items are posted with Royal Mail, they will use your name and address to get your package safely to you. Royal Mail does have GDPR policies set in place.

I use Instagram and Facebook for my business and the only time I will use your data on there is when you use my hashtag to share pictures and to retweet and pictures, I have been tagged in.
I do ask permission first and always give credit.

You are entitled to view, amend or delete the personal information that I hold.
Just drop me an email at and I will delete all the information on my system.

Unfortunately, I can’t delete your purchase history as I this to help with my business accounts.
